Just buy cheap non stick - they all wear out. You also may be doing things that decrease the life, such as:
Using metal utensils that will scratch the teflon, washing it in the dishwasher where it will be degraded, always cooking on high rather than using medium for most things and letting the pan properly heat up.

You don't need non-stick pans for much. We have a cheap one specificially for scrambled eggs that we will throw in the dishwasher becuase we don't care what happens to it. Everything else is cooked on stainless steel tri-clad or cast iron.
