Apples to Oranges/BYU is right to focus as they do
This is one place Kalani is on point. The talent pool in the “Mormon belt” has improved significantly, and will only improve more in relative terms in the coming years. Florida is not a good fit for many reasons, except in rare cases. What is unfortunate, however, is that BYU has lost ground in California and Hawaii where in the old days they were able to pick up a lot of LDS, or non LDS good fit recruits. BYU needs to land some of those guys again.

BYU rarely recruits Florida for the same reasons that Bama rarely recruits California. 15 since 2000.
