You would be wrong in thinking that. BYU doesn't have a medical school so it
isn't a relevant comparison. Where the schools match up head to head BYU is typically a much better school, (mostly because of the much higher quality of the students).
Utah's medical school is fine. It isn't world-class, and it isn't bad. Just because they have a med school doesn't make them Johns Hopkins.
