Athletic success too remote and inconsistent.
Sad that the Apple Cup will probably disappear over time. If things continue to consolidate and WSU is left out the annual UW/WSU matchup will probably not elicit the excitement it did in the past, if they even continue to hold it.
And the legislature’s not going to save the rivalry. Consolidation will happen before they are even back in session.
