Worthless TV markets, poor to mediocre athletic performance. They were politically aligned, and that's it. From an athletics perspective, they've been nothing more than a conference punching bag.
Hopefully they saved their pennies, because the the Mountain West is a very realistic possibility, and honestly, it's where they belong. The same thing should happen to Vanderbilt in the SEC.
