Spent the entire flight across the country and night before in my hotel rehearsing over and over answers to probable questions. The interview was 3 panels in 3 different rooms, each of 3 different providers, all hitting applicants from different angles.
It was brutal. I did well in 2/3 then they broke me down in the third room. I called my wife and told her I blew it and wouldnt be getting an offer. That was a long, depressing, lonely flight home. A few days later I got my acceptance email and couldnt believe it. Made me wonder how poorly the other intervoewees must have done.
