USC and UCLA fans, especially the ones over 40 are huge PAC 12 people
They have been cheering for the Pac 10/12 their whole life. I grew up in a USC family, with USC season tickets. My brother went to BYU and USC, but he’s a much bigger USC fan.

Him and every other USC fan, alum, booster that I know and even the few UCLA fans I know are universally not happy about the move, they recognize that it’s all about the money, and they will benefit, but they are not super thrilled about it.

They would much rather play Oregon and Washington in sports then have to play Rutgers, Iowa, Nebraska, etc. Not to mention the fact that every pac 10 fan has been cheering against the big 10 their whole lives in the Rose Bowl.

This doesn’t even mention the Olympic sport ramifications, and those sports USC has been a traditional powerhouse and regularly has the most olympic athletes. Curious to see if that is negative consequence here.
