feasible to stop at USC and UCLA. Frankly, I believe this has been the Big Ten's plan from the get go, but they stopped after USC and UCLA to put pressure on Notre Dame. We know that the Big Ten was talking with Oregon and Washington and told them "not now" or "not yet" depending upon the perspective.
I will be surprised if there are fewer than 2 additional PAC schools in the Big Ten with USC and UCLA and wouldn't be surprised if it's 5 or 6 total PAC schools when the Big Ten's western realignment is finished.
Who else from the PAC 10 that gets the Big Ten invite will depend on whether Notre Dame seeks to join. Governor Newsome may push Cal's way into the Big Ten. So, it's likely down to Stanford, Cal, Oregon, and Washington....with all 4 additional schools possible if Notre Dame remains independent.
