That little bit of wobble doesn’t matter much. If it’s on the money, it’s on the money. A true duck is a little harder
to catch, but they don’t make it to that distance anyway.
Not quite as pretty, but nothing wrong with that pass.
Get him some John Beck time and maybe that will tighten up and even increase range a little.

Really? Using a video of two passes thrown without any pressure as evidence?

Dude's got tools. I've been saying it since he was recruited.

So do hundreds or QBs that are not successful in D1. Nothing can really be

Now get him to do that in a game.

I'm sure he'll get that opportunity sometime this year.

8/5/22 10:40am
Hasn't he only played in one game....
WJCougar
8/5/22 10:46am
Yep. Don't know if it's the coaches being too conservative or if they just didn't trust him yet
John Doe
8/5/22 10:50am
I thought he played fine against USU

Count me in as well. It was his first time, on the road.
ratherberoping
8/5/22 11:45am
Yeah. And the coaches went conservative to "not lose"
HoustonTXCoug
8/5/22 11:56am
Of course they didnt trust him. Was his first game ever.
WJCougar
8/5/22 10:58am
Sure. They do that with every young QB.

If Jaren Hall has a great year, then this will most likely be QB1 in 1st year in
Schrodizzy

No pass rush, and nothing over the middle, which is what tests the mettle of a QB. Those videos are nice though I guess.

It would be worse if he couldn’t make those throws. We can say that

7 on air is different than live reps. Not saying either way but I mean showing

Those throws are pretty pretty, hope he’s ready to go as a backup this year

Don't think we know much of anything about Conover yet

Played with a D1 QB in HS. Actually, a really tight spiral can zip right through
Parker Schnabel
8/5/22 2:46pm
I don’t know if I’d go that far. If you can throw it tight, throw it tight. It’s true that taking a little velocity off

I don't think anyone here wants him to fail. We all want him to be the next star

And he is blazing fast. Not only did he make the throw (#17) on the first pass

8/5/22 11:42am
Who caught those - Kyson Hall and Epps?
Captain Stubing

those throws look great

We all know the real reason they were bad throws, per ARod all deep balls need

I think A-Rod philosophy is more "err on the side of underthrowing"
