I should mention my HCBW puts valiant efforts to support my love for football. While she is disinterested in sports I have dragged her to countless games and she likes watching the games with us when I have friends over.

For context this particular vow ceremony is for a cousin who doesn’t get much support from his family and we are really the only family on the East coast with him, so it just was an unlucky coincidence that it fell on this date.

Although I have several times told her I whole-heartedly disagree with anyone planning weddings or priesthood meetings on game days, sometimes exceptions need to be made.
