No. As others have commented: Fox had a better production across the board for CFB. I don’t remember the exact logistics
but ESPN had/has only so many broadcast trucks and cameras and they were spread too thin for the inventory of games they were to broadcast. Some games I swear they only has 2-3 cameras. Yes, some of the day time marquee games had the good equipment but many games had inferior production and cameras. This was across many conferences/games.

I am kinda bummed that it seems BYU/BIGXII will end up with ESPN being the major media provider for FB games & BIGXII.

Yes, a lot of games were scheduled one on top of the other. A part of it was TV timeouts for commercials would run over.
