this list knows way more than I. They could be right. I'm just saying that ANY preseason list/poll is speculation - even if backed by good stats from previous years. But we don't know for sure how they'll execute on game day. I don't really follow any other teams except the U to watch them lose (yep, I'm one of those guys). I couldn't know if BYU is worthy of #9 or not. I don't think they know either.

I enjoy these lists - I really do. I just don't put any real value in them. Based on what I saw last year, I would put BYU in the top 25 of the coaches poll over teams like Houston, Kentucky, Wake Forest, Pitt, NC State and others. Maybe these guys watched countless hours of OL play. I just seriously doubt it. If you look at how much content their putting out on that twitter account, I'm thinking they don't have the time to do a deep dive. I just hope at the end of the year, BYU rates out at higher than 9!
