starting so that I’m not the go-to house for a specific neighbor family. I feel bad for the kids because their mom works and only WFH on some days, but it’s not my job to entertain your kids all summer long. These kids are left to fend for themselves, if she’s not home, and half the time one daughter is sleeping the day away.
I have told my kids many times they can play, but not at my house, because they always end up at my house, either because the mom isn’t home or doesn’t want them inside while she’s working. I also think these kids just prefer my house, anyway.
I have liked that my daughter has made friends with others nearby and prefers to play with them (these neighbors are kind of her backup plans), but my son really needs to make more friends his age and hopefully does when he starts kindergarten next week.
I’m just bugged today.
