BYU should be doing w/e it can to be in a P2. My thought is that's the only guarantee for long term relevancy. Who knows what could happen down the road with college football, it's definitely in a state of flux with NIL on the table now.

The part I don't agree with is even trying to get in the BIG10. I don't think they like what BYU represents or have much respect for BYU. The SEC would be a better fit from that standpoint. Unfortunately, like many of the other comments, it's a long shot. I just hope BYU admin is aggressively pursuing it rather than sitting back and waiting for dust to settle. Perhaps discussing with the SEC now could help them realize it's not such a crazy idea and would give them access to another market....who knows maybe in 5-10 years they consider it.

The real gut punch would be if Utah was the school they decided to go with for the "mountain" market and once again we get leap frogged.
