He is doing what he sees as HIS best interest. Not the best interest of the team

or his teammates. He is entitled to that choice, and he is entitled to some legitimate criticism for the negative impact it will have on his team, teammates and fans that looked forward to watching him.

I am sure he is a great kid. I respect his choice to serve a mission at the risk of his promising career in football. That said, his leaving really only serves his best interest. Hard choice as that comes with some criticism and negativity.
