the blaming it on religion thing doesn't surprise me. utah is full of people who
assume that when bad things happen to them its because they are being discriminated against for being mormon. One of the biggest shocks when i moved here. I hear it all the time...my house was egged because i'm not mormon, i was spit at because i'm not mormon, people give me evil looks at the grocery store because i'm not mormon...
i know our members aren't perfect and that some people are mean...but at least half of the things i hear blamed on religion aren't true.
