People love to point out the “utah” accent which is real, sale and sell are a common target. I’m not debating that, they do it as if they don’t have any accent… those silly “Utah people” I hear that a lot because my wife is southern and, yes they mispronounce stuff all the time androll their eyes at me when I point it out the same way… it’s a double standard at byu don’t kid yourself.

Everyone has an accent, it is true that it is neither good nor bad, linguistics is a descriptive science (Tell that to my syntax teacher 😉)

It’s just dumb how byu students love to point out the Utah stuff as if they have thing where they’re from.

“Utah road block” when two cars drove the same speed down a road not allowing anyone to pass… that happens 10x more often in South Carolina let me tell you… but there it’s ok I guess
