It's okay to admit your fellow refs made a bad no call.
In all my years as a casual observer I have never seen a batted pass not get blown dead when the ball hits the ground.
You ask for what could have been done instead. I give you two options, one even resulting in the same outcome. Which even saves the refs some face and you resort to calling it incompetence.
Obviously you aren't arguing in good faith, so I am done.
