And when you say 500 mile per range...that needs to be 500 miles on the highway, not local driving. I would never
get an EV for this reason. I do enough long trips (about every other month) that having a car that I can do that trip in without having to stop and schedule an hour of time to recharge makes no sense.
Heck, my buddies and I are taking my car to Vegas this weekend for the game because they both have EVs and we would be looking at an extra 1.5 hours to get down there and 1.5 hours to get back. They love their cars in the city, but a 3 hour drive for them on the highway at highway speeds typically turns into a 4 hour drive. No thanks.
