BYU has bad adv analytics and Notre Dame has better adv analytics?
BYU ranking is much higher than analytics indicate they should be. Notre Dame is lower than their analytics indicate they should be.
Rankings are not great measures of how good a team is - they are a key marketing tool, but they are only directionally correct. They are fraught with bias. Probably best to use advanced analytics to predict winners rather than based upon what some writer in Tennessee or some other locale votes.
