Brooks wasn't the problem. That he was so easily streamlined to RB1 &
several other promising recruits weren't brought in as well — THAT was the heart of the issue.
After all, in Brooks we have a displaced Cal starter — that we expected to come in & be 'the man' for us. Are Cal's backups really worthy of setting the standard for BYU skill positions?
I sure hope not. A good RB coach would've brought in Brooks & another solid transfer & a solid prepster — & then had them battle it out with our rostered RBs.
