Coaches are absolutely needle movers but they aren’t miracle workers which is exactly why they don’t just snag any male
who wants to play football and instead they all fight for the most gifted players available. If coaches could just teach someone how to be a great RB, QB, WR etc… then they wouldn’t Kill themselves on the road fighting over the best talent.
This isn’t Zach’s philosophy. Saban has mentioned the importance of recruiting in having a good team. You can’t mentally manipulate someone into being something they are not.
