I don't get the feeling that those groups are the same at all.
I, for one, felt like Detmer was not doing well and needed to be let go. I also feel the same about Lamb. Most people, I think, are that way and not as tribalist as you think.
As for the deflection, someone pointed to Lamb's ridiculous assertion of Critchlow's greatness as an example that he's NOT as high football IQ as you think. Your response wasn't to address that argument but to drag Detmer into the mud. That's a deflection.
