They had a mediocre season and are giving him some leeway here. He has way more resources at his disposal than any coach in BYU history. He doesn't have any excuses at this point. We will see if he can lead this overhaul successfully. Fans may lose patience with him over the next few years if he can't get the team on track. Many will blame the B12 for his shortfalls, so he may get additional leeway even if BYU struggles. This is big boy football and you can't afford to give unlimited leeway. Recruiting has to pick up, execution needs to be sharp and accountability needs to be a key component for this to work.

The administration really wants to make it work, but fans have limited patience and if they start withholding support from the program, Kalani will be out. The responsibility will eventually lie with Kalani - can only skirt it for so long.
