I think NIL makes this more likely in Jaren's case.

I'm not sure how his age factors into this, but the fact that he at least gets decent NIL money could make it more likely that he sticks around instead of taking his chances as a late round/free agent. If his draft grade comes back higher (say first 3 rounds), then I suspect that would trump the NIL money from BYU. I do think his draft stock took a hit as the season progressed.
