Check out the defensive chart for the last 15 yrs for BYU and try to notice that Bronco's defensive teams consistently
were higher rated than Kalani's teams. Also, remember that this year's team will be even lower than last year's.
Tuiaki's best teams overall were with Bronco's recruits and developed by Bronco's defensive staff. The one that is rated highly with Tuiaki's guys played very likely the easiest schedule in BYU history.
Most of BYU's defensive problems are on Tuiaki, but Kalani has to share in some of the blame for not recognizing the issue sooner and fixing it earlier.
