It's obviously an opinion and why would he be wrong sharing it?
It is weird if they had the choice to play in 3 weeks if his starting QB is injured and not take a later bowl. Especially when they've done practically nothing to get either Connover or Fennegan any meaningful reps in live action. Kind of backward to say the least.

I suspect the early bowl date preference had more to do with getting the new staff going with recruiting and such
