I disagree. The 1980 Holiday Bowl was against SMU. We had a scrappy aggressive
winner of a QB named McMahon who motivated his team to an unlikely comeback win. Yes, we are fully capable of doing it again. It just takes the right leadership both on and off the field. What I see of today's Liberty and Coastal Carolina teams remind me of the scrappy teams BYU has had in the past. I hope we can get there again...I don't want us to be the Vanderbilt of the B12.
