I think Conover would start for BYU next year if the coaches had confidence …
… in him. The fact that he left BYU seemed to indicate maybe coaches thought he was not good enough to start at BYU, or that it looks like Hall is coming back for another year and Conover wants to play now. Not willing to sit behind the starter and get to throw one pass all year again.

They're chasing playing time--not an education. A lot of these kids aren't student-athletes. They're just athletes.
