But they’re still providing a service by collecting for charities that might not otherwise get donations. It’s the same thing as an Eagle Scout collecting books or winter coats. The donations don’t belong to the kid, bu they’re making the effort to facilitate the donation. I can’t imagine getting worked up about that!
