I know there's this hope from BYU fans that the Pac collapses and Utah is left
out to dry, but that's just not going happen. Utah, Oregon, and Washington in particular are now in a great position with the new playoff format and USC leaving. The Pac-12 has an auto bid. The new Big-12 has half the number of ranked teams as the new Pac.
Even if the Pac disbands, Utah will just end up in the Big-12

PAC 12 is fine. No worse than the big 12 whose geographical best programs are also in other conferences
