IIRC, Young was the 12th QB on the roster and taught himself how to throw while
at BYU. That is not a good example. He was getting no time at Safety or QB or coaching help and would have quit if his father didn’t insist he keep trying. I am a big fan of Young as a player and as a person BTW.

Not sure why ANY QB would want to play for the utes. Not like they have a pipeline to the NFL or anything.
