Looking for both activity and food recs! Current itinerary: Land Friday afternoon and do La Jolla, find something for dinner. Saturday zoo all day...find dinner. Sunday: Church and the rest of the day is open. Monday: Legoland all day, fly out that evening. No time to golf unfortunately, but maybe time for some easier hikes.

My favorite restaurant there, Hamilton's Tavern, closed 🙁

We're mostly looking for quick food options, fast casual, take-out, or faster sit down experiences. Have 2 kids and the wife with me.

Also looking for any other can't miss activities. We're doing the Zoo again and Legoland for the first time. Done USS Midway. Planning on trying to see fighter jets take off/land near Miramar as my Grandpa was a high level fighter jet instructor there back in the day. Not sure what time of day they take off or if they go at all on Sunday.
