Check the tides at Torrey Pines if you are going to do the “hike.” Low tide is
best. Hi tide can be impassible if you want to do part of the hike on the beach (recommended). Sunday, actually has what appear to be pretty good tides. The daytime high is not that high and the low is late morning.
