UCF and Cinci also had more success as a G5 than UU, but it took them way longer to get into a P5. And how about the best example to the contrary, BYU won a national championship from outside of a power conference. Still didn't result in an invitation.

It's like UU fans are totally incapable of admitting that they were the beneficiaries of a lot of luck. Relative to their actual program, they must have the most disproportionate ego in CFB. And if that attitude means they'll follow the PAC as it circles the drain, I'm all for it.
