Medute Truly Addicted User

In the park at Canyon Lodge? Will have 3 kids (9, 12, 15). Already doing Jackson during first half of trip. I know nothing about staying at Yellowstone other than what I have read here. Appreciate any tips.

If you can book it..stay in park. There are a lot of miles of driving in

If you get in the Lodge go for it. Very unique. We stay in West Yellowstone and

Island Park is good if you want to do things outside of the park for a couple of days and

I really like staying at Canyon Village in a "cabin" they are nice.

We’ve camped inside park & stayed in West Yellowstone. Both were great, just very different.

My rec w/ kids is Island Park. Stay in the new Springhill Suite at Mack's Inn. Nicest accommodations now in the area

Floating from the bridge below Big Springs down to Macks Inn is a good option.
