If you get in the Lodge go for it. Very unique. We stay in West Yellowstone and

We’ve camped inside park & stayed in West Yellowstone. Both were great, just very different.

My rec w/ kids is Island Park. Stay in the new Springhill Suite at Mack's Inn. Nicest accommodations now in the area
