I really like staying at Canyon Village in a "cabin" they are nice.

Other lodges etc. in the Park are adequate but old. I like staying in the park because in the evening it's really nice when all the people staying outside the park are gone.

If you get in the Lodge go for it. Very unique. We stay in West Yellowstone and

We’ve camped inside park & stayed in West Yellowstone. Both were great, just very different.

My rec w/ kids is Island Park. Stay in the new Springhill Suite at Mack's Inn. Nicest accommodations now in the area

Floating from the bridge below Big Springs down to Macks Inn is a good option.
