They just wanted the best overall programs with the best potential. UCF is a huge school with a massive alumni base and a lot of fans in Central Florida. Cincinnati has a bunch of basketball titles and a really nice recent football history. BYU you know about. Houston was probably added to get to four. I don’t think it was the media market but I do think the B12 believed Houston had some potential.

I guess I don’t think the media markets had much to do with it but I guess we will never know.
