You should definitely ask for an arraignment
There are other, more likely situations to give hope. Another poster above said to talk to the prosecutor to make a deal, which has the most likelihood of working out.

Your only hope to get it dismissed is to ask for a court date and hope the officer fails to show up to present evidence.
