We have a solid core of young players to build around who hopefully all return (Hall, Saunders, Robinson, Fouss, AAA etc). This is the key to putting a competitive team on the floor.

Next thing they need is some experience and time together to develop and grow chemistry. They took a good step In that direction this season and will continue to do so next season as they add more young pieces (Jake Wahlin) to the nucleus. The Next season they add another key piece in top 30 recruit Colin Chandler.

What i understand that you seem to be blind to is that it takes time at BYU to rebuild a roster that had been poorly constructed and had no incoming talent in the recruiting pipeline once the inherited class of seniors left. It takes 2-3 yrs longer at BYU due to our recruiting base being LDS and serving missions.

Kalani went through the same thing when he took over the football program. He had some struggles while he re-filled the recruiting pipeline and rebuilt the roster. By his 5th season he had a2 deep filled with his guys who were now 3rd and 4th yr guys, and had experience, great continuity and well conditioned. It doesn't happen overnight at BYU.
