I could see a physicians that’s not specialized value declining significantly in coming years. AI is gaining ground- much of the routine aspects of medical care can be automated in a way. A mid level can do 90% of what a MD can do for much less and can be guided by technology. There will be errors that result in horrible complications but the financial burden will be too much to ignore.

My timeline is just a guess just like my assumption of MD compensation.
