All depends on how insurance companies decide to reimburse MDs/DOs compared
to masters level clinicians (PAs and Nurse Practioners).
Insurance will call the shots, and they will almost always (always?) do whatever maximizes their revenue.
I wonder if PAs and NPs will just move to the model a lot of mental health therapists are following. Just do cash pay clinics.
