What do you mean ended it. Rugby is still played. The big issue is how Club and NCAA rugby is divided.
BYU, Cal and many other schools keep having to change leagues or change affiliations to try and be part of whichever league is the stronger one at the moment.
It’s US National rugby ineptitude and mismanagement trickling down to the amateur level of play in college and club rugby.
