The church is clearly fine with running profitable businesses. I don't see why

BYU wouldn't be allowed to adapt along with the rest of the universities in the country. BYU pays professors and presidents...if the model changes and you have to pay players via NIL or some other manner...why would the church prevent them from doing it, especially if its self sustaining as an athletic department?
