The problem is Dame/Simons/Nurkic
They are all bad to horrific defensive players. Dame/Simons is small as well. It’s just Dame/CJ all over again. Nurkic can only play drop which is not what you want with Dame/Simons. You need a 5 that can play at the level, switch, or blitz.
If I was them I’d replace Nurkic and Simons. I mean I’d really trade Dame, but if they are set on keeping him, they need a new 5 and a better point of attack defender.

This would be a good move for Utah in my opinion. I really like Markkanen the player, but the Jazz timeline doesn't
