Parents reps often influence kids opportunities as they get older
As clubs put certain parents on blacklists and won’t touch any of their kids. Plus that soccer world is a small incestuous one as well.
Plus if your older kid is in a decent situation no guarantee that that stays the same if you guys burn bridges and bounce
So I would try and suck it up and let it go and keep looking for other opportunities elsewhere
