I think the Transfer Portal helped BYU immensely this season and will continue to help them down the road. However, I agree that it shouldn’t be the main source of players, BYU needs to recruit HS better, which they are already doing this season.

The goal should be to get the players on the field as RS Freshman or RS Sophomore, so you can have them for three years or in some cases two with a full understanding of the offense or defense.
