anymore. Once a game is completely slipping away, I turn it off and go do something else. I’ll periodically check in if I turned it off early, then turn it back on if BYU claws back in it.

Apathy started for me around 5 or 6 years ago. It’s actually not a horrible place to be as a fan. I still get excited for wins, but when they disappoint and let fans down I almost completely disconnect. My wife definitely prefers it this way as well. It’s a lot better than being in a crappy mood for a few days afterward like I used to be.
