Well that’s unfortunate…for you. However, for BYU basketball the future is rosy
…we finished a very successful first year in the Big12 that surpassed the expectations of many, if not most, BYU fans. We spent most of the year in the top 25 and as some have noted in this thread, won at a level that few other BYU teams have ever come close to (went 4-5 vs top 25 teams, beat a number of NCAA tourney teams and Conf tourney champs, had double digit Q1/Q2 wins, etc).

We lose Spencer Johnson but potentially will bring back 80-90% of our scoring/productivity (depending on what Jaxson decides) and add some of the highest recruited high school talent ever at BYU. Robbie McCombs says he knows of one player’s plans to transfer but didn’t reveal who. Not sure if that happens or not and if we do lose that one player he referenced, don’t know if there could be any others, but even if we lose a couple of guys we’re upgrading the talent on our roster significantly.

We grow line upon line, precept upon precept. This season was significantly better than last season, not just in the number of wins but in the caliber/quality of opponents we beat. This basketball team took a HUGE step forward this season and the roster moving forward is only getting stronger.
